Twilight Weekend

This weekend was Twilight.  One of my favorite weekends of the year in Athens.  Everyone flocks downtown to eat good food, drink outside, watch the bike race, and just enjoy our beautiful city.  Our Twilight experience was a little different this year with a baby in tow, but it was still fabulous!  We went downtown with Jesica, Matthew, and baby Will.  We found a good spot to post up outside and had fun running into old college friends and enjoying time outside with our sweet babes.

We had a bit of a reality check that our life has changed when we had to get home at 630 to feed the babes and get them ready for bed!  Look at these dads on a mission...

We got a babysitter once the kids were in bed and enjoyed a night on the town!  Felt like old times..

Sunday was spent with lots of sleeping/snuggles.  Doesn't get much better than this.

Easter Weekend

We had the best weekend.  We left at Kate's bedtime on Thursday night and drove up to Charlotte where we got to have a few fun filled hours with Joanna and Will (didn't take any pictures! dern..)  Then we left first thing Friday am and finished the drive up to Charlottesville.  Kate was an angel in the car.  Drank her bottle in her seat and slept the whole time.. Not one peep.

Friday night we went to the UVA baseball game... This girl has MRG wrapped around her finger, especially in her Virginia gear!

She was also loving Miss Beth, but the real apple of her eye was Carlton. (No pictures, but trust me..)

A lot of the weekend was spent lounging and enjoying being together.. I love all these peeps.

Easter Sunday we went to church and then spent the day at home with lots of family and yummy food.

Look at this girl... beautiful in her handmade dress from DiDi

Kate's first Easter basket... She loved it!

And one more of these sweet heiney pics... This girl is too much.

It was a fabulous weekend that went way too fast as always.  Being in Charlottesville with all my people is truly my happy place.  If only we could still be in Athens but be closer to all of them...

My Sweet Easter Bunny

A little preview of our sweet bunny this weekend...

Can you even stand it?

More to come... just couldn't wait to post these.

School Pictures

They had "school picture day" at daycare a few weeks ago which I thought was a little funny/ridiculous at first.  Then I got the proofs back.....

Ok, I'll buy 1000.

It Comes in 3's?

Now she has Thrush... This little gal can't catch a break.
This sick little chick is seriously breaking my heart....

Saturday with the Donges Crew

We had a special treat this weekend!  The Donges crew trekked to Athens and we got to enjoy the beautiful weather at Terrapin Brewery and then some yummy mexican food for dinner.  We had a sleepover and Uncle Ben obviously built a fort for all the kiddos to sleep in.  It was a blast.  Love having our people here.

Little miss mohawk blowing in the breeze at Terrapin

Cheeky Cheeky!

This girl loves her Aunt Kate.. She also got her first taste of this applesauce pouch... and she was definitely a fan!  Cried every time she pulled it away!

Only pic I got of little Ben.. I swear he had more fun than it looks!

Who Knows?

Clearly, cornhole is way more fun as a slide!

All my girls... Didn't really get any pics of the boys, probably because they were constantly having to stand in line!

Kate and her boy cousins... Just hanging out on Sunday am.  Love these babies

Thanks for coming to hang with us Donges family.  We love you so much!

6 Months

How in the world is this girl already 6 months old?!?

Time is flying by and we are grateful and blessed for every second with her.  Not sure how we lived without her.  This girl is the happiest baby you have ever seen.. Despite being sick the past 3 weeks, she is still smiling and giggling all the time.  She can melt your heart in a second.

Right now Kate loves sitting up on her own, rolling around, laughing at her daddy and her puppy, picking things up and putting them in her mouth (she can always find that binky!), sleeping on her tummy, and being outside.  She is the most precious girl and brings us so much joy every day.
