Bruce's 1/2 Birthday

 10/30/15

Sweet Bruce has been here for 6 whole months!

I know I am so biased, but have you ever even seen a more handsome/beautiful baby?

This sweet little squish has had a big month.
Started eating solids and LOVING it.
Avocados, applesauce, squash, bananas, carrots... you can't get it into his mouth fast enough.

He is just so damn smiley and I love it.  Just look at him and he will light up and give you one of these grins... Melt your heart goodness right there

Happy guy is so content.  Loves sitting up, jumping, his exersauer and pretty much is down for whatever as long as he can see his sissy, mom, or dad.

He is so strong and sits up like a champ.  Getting good at grabbing things and putting them right in his mouth.  He is even getting good at finding that bink and putting it in his mouth (yes!)

No more swaddling.. He hates being on his stomach, but has starting sleeping pretty well if he has some loveys to snuggle.

Napping a little bit better and teasing us by sleeping through the night for a couple nights and then getting up for a few nights after that.

This guy lights up our world.  He has the best laugh/giggle and his dad is the best at cracking him up.

Little Chunka is wearing 6 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
Weighing in at 18 lbs 5 oz (65%), 26.5 in tall (50%) and still has a HUGE noggin at 17.5 in which is 88 percentile :)

Love that sweet face and even sweeter smile.
Every day just gets better with you, my sweet Brucie.

Happy Half Birthday to our favorite little guy on this planet.
We love you so much little B.

Halloween WEEK

We had a week long celebration of Halloween

Cat Woman and Batman made their debut (duh)

We kicked it off with Boo at the Zoo with the Gentry brothers...

"Come on Jase"

It was ridiculously crowded and it was a zoo alright, but the kids sure had fun and the mama's were patient and wished we would have snuck in some cocktails

Remember this?

Well of course, this happened..

Halloween day was spent with the Chancey's watching our dawgs get whooped up on which seems to be the trend this year..

We were happy to leave at halftime to go do some trick or treating.

The Royal Family made an appearance again this year with their 2 new additions, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Our inspiration...

And the reenactment...

Ha! No one knew who they were when we were trick or treating, but these pictures are priceless.

The kids loved trick or treating.  What a difference a year can make.

They would run up yelling "knock knock", then "TREAT", then "THANK YOU" and Kate would tell everyone "see you morrow!" (nice try sissy!)

They ate lollipops and candy for dinner and we witnessed the true definition of a sugar high.
Cheers!

The Prince and Duchess rode off into the sunset, it was such a fun night.

After too much candy, lots of running and playing, and staying up way past our bedtime... It was time for this day to end!
Goodnight Moon!

Washington Farms

10/18/15

We had a blast playing and exploring at Washington Farms

Kate couldn't have been happier to see and touch the animals, run around, and play.

"LOOK"

The slide was her favorite...
She started with the small one but quickly switched to go down the big one and was pushing those older kids out of the way to get her turn.
She is one brave little gal and she definitely has a need for speed...

I mean, just look how fast she was going...
WARP SPEED FACE

Ben and I literally laughed until we cried at that picture...
#parentsoftheyear

She was loving the jump jump too...
Such joy

Are you wondering how Bruce liked it?
BIG fan of Washington Farms..

We ended the day with an attempt at an impromptu photo shoot with the sunflowers and the pumpkins...
Note to self- next year do your photo shoot before the kids wear themselves out running around..

Sweetest little punkins

Such a fun day.
