Kate's Birthday Weekend

10/4/15

Kate's birthday was a weekend long celebration filled with all of her favorite people and loved ones.

We started the birthday festivities with a very wet tailgate.. She loved all the attention and fun with lots of her favorite folks.  

Plus, there were lots of cute cookies and yummy snacks :)

The kiddos went home with DiDi and MRG 

The rest of us put on our ponchos and braved that weather for the most terrible football game ever...

Sunday was her actual birthday and we celebrated with family, friends, and cupcakes.

Someone was not very happy about those candles...

Thank goodness for sweet cousins to help blow them out so we could get down to business eating that cupcake!

Our little princess was spoiled rotten with presents.

The theme of this years presents revolved around her new kitchen and everything baby.

and every gal needs to cook and take care of her babies in her tinkerbell fairy dress!

Nothing makes Kate happier than her cousins and her cutie boyfriend, Will.

The weekend was officially complete with a big ol' bowl of cheese dip for our 2 year old girl

And of course margs for mom and dad :)

My Baby is 2

My baby girl is 2 years old.

In some ways it feels like yesterday we were rushing to the OR to meet you because you just had to make your entrance into this world with a little bit of drama.. In other ways, I can't really remember my life without you.

You made me a mama 2 years ago and I can't think of a better or more fulfilling job.

You have filled up our world with love, lots of laughter, smiles, and so much fun.

You have such personality and it grows every single day,  You are 2 going on 16 some days, but I wouldn't trade or change one thing about you.

You crack us up all the time.  Your vocabulary and sense of humor is amazing.  You totally feed off of attention and love when people laugh with you.

You are silly and fun, but you are also so sweet and have the most tender heart.  You love that baby brother of yours and all of your baby dolls and your Wriggey dog.  You also love your mommy and daddy something fierce and love to snuggle buggle and give us hugs and kisses.  Please never stop.

2 years old is pretty perfect.  I could freeze time right now and be one happy mommy.

Happy Birthday to my fun, sweet, adventurous, happy, perfect little gal.

We love you to the moon and back and back again.

September...

Well now we are halfway through October and there were just so many things I wanted to share with you about September!

Ugh, time is slipping away and I cannot keep up with blogging!

This baby boy is pretty stoked about football season.

All my babies are just loving the fall weather.

Nothing better than getting pictures like these from the nanny when I am at work.  So thankful and blessed for Miss Sarah.

Bruce is a 5 Month Old!

My sweet baby boy is 5 months old.

I say it every time, but seriously, time is going WAY too fast.  For some reason, I am a little emotional about him being 5 months.  He is going to be moving and eating and not really my squishy baby for much longer.

This guy is so smiley.  He lights up just seeing us and hearing our voices.

Melt your heart cuteness

He can roll over front to back and is VERY close to rolling back to front.  He can pretty much sit up unsupported and he loves sitting up and seeing everyone.

He is starting to sleep more consistently.  Most of the time he sleeps 12 hours with a paci pop in once or twice.  He is still being swaddled when we put him down at night, but little houdini breaks out of that in no time.

He is so laid back and pretty much happy and content as long as he is fed, clean, and can see all of his people.

He wears mostly 3-6 month clothes, size 2 diapers, and he is just seriously the squishiest little lovey that you ever did see.

Dad cracks me up the hardest and mama calms me down and puts me to sleep the quickest.

He is getting better and better at eating the rice cereal and is READY for some real food.  Talk about major jealousy at dinner time.

Little Miss Diva loves her black dog and her babies...

Oh, and her sunglasses.

They go everywhere with us, even the grocery store!

This girl makes us laugh every moment of every day.  I just can't even get enough of her.

Healthy Boy

9/10/15

Bruce's 4 month check up at the doctor went great.

He is a perfect, growing, healthy boy.

He weighed in at 15.15 lbs (55th percentile), 26 inches long (76th percentile), and his head circumference was 96th percentile!  Might have some Guthrie genes in there after all....

He was happy, sweet, and smiley for the doc...

Then that nurse came in and gave him his shots- he was not very happy with her!

That sweet face though... Love this guy.
