We had another crazy, hectic, traveling weekend.
Some may say spending 20 hours in your car (with a 9.5 month old) for a quick 3 day weekend trip is insane.
I say- it was worth every second...

Jack Guthrie has stolen our hearts. He is the sweetest and snuggliest little guy. Look at that face!
It truly was a delightful weekend. We had lots of fun family time and tons of sweet baby snuggles. Let me tell you... It was grandparent heaven!
We spent the day Saturday at JM and Erica's house. We took a walk with the cousins and got to see more of their cute neighborhood and the park nearby.
Saturday night we had a delicious dinner and drinks at Gus and Mart's house. Kate REALLY loved the dinner... especially the mini cheesecake bites she got from her Aunt Marty.. :)
Sunday we had brunch with some of JM and Erica's friends and their sweet kids. We spent most of the rest of the day just lounging and soaking up all the baby snuggles we could.
Does it get any cuter than this?
Monday we hit the road around 4am and headed back to Athens. Kate did great in the car again (thank goodness!) and made it back home in time to have a quick family nap...
It was a fabulous weekend and I am so grateful we were able to get up there to meet our sweet new nephew. Couldn't be happier for my brother and erica for their precious little blessing. They are rocking this parenting thing already.
